Published letters to editors
Five short opinion pieces written for a university assignment and published by Spanish newspapers.

Context
For a university assignment, the goal was simple to state and harder to achieve: write letters that editors would choose to publish.
The challenge
Each piece needed a clear point of view, a concise structure and a subject relevant to a particular newspaper and its readers. Publication—not just submission—was the measure of whether the writing connected.
The outcome
Five letters were published, covering bullying, fear, education credentials, pollution and tourism in Barcelona:
- Bullying, in Diario Bahía de Cádiz
- Fear and hiding, in La Nueva España
- Títulos de papel mojado, in La Nueva España
- Contaminación, in Faro de Vigo
- Barcelonaland, in El Periódico
The exercise reinforced the value of adapting an argument to its context while keeping the writer’s own voice intact.
